It’s been a little quiet out here, but I’ve been really busy behind the scene’s, retooling, re-branding and reloading for the new season. I’m really pumped, some awesome things are going to unfold in 2011.

COLEEFFECT IS IN THE BUILDING!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Coleeffect is in the building!

How easy is it to be a member of a wedding party and still find a way to take pictures (for fun) at the same wedding?…Not very easy I must confess, but someway somehow we made it happen.

I bring you pics from the very romantic wedding ceremony of my longtime buddy Oluseun and his beautiful bride Lois. I’ve been to the windy city a few times, but I don’t seem to remember having so much fun all at once!

Ladies and Gentlemen, COLEEFFECT is in the building!

I met up with Jen and Chris for their e-session this past weekend. It going to be extremely difficult to take any credit for the images coming your way, because this couples chemistry made this session WAY TOO EASY. A truly Cartier-Bresson time for me i.e. Celeste and I just showed up to ‘capture their chemistry’.

I bring you a foreshadow (sneek peek) from their shoot. For this picture, I had the couple sit really still for a few seconds while I got enough clicks for a decent brenizer method photo and the result me likey! A very charming couple and I’m really glad at the opportunity I got to work with them.

Ladies and Gentlemen, JENANDCHRIS are in the building!

I saw Ariana at a party I covered earlier in the summer. When I got home and was looking through the pictures from the event, I came across Ariana’s picture and I noticed that this adorable girl arrested the attention of my lens in a rather unusual way. I knew at that point that I absolutely had to have an photoshoot with her. I made a few calls and I’m glad Ariana’s parents were able to look past the randomness of my request.

I had the opportunity to shoot the wedding ceremony of Manisha and Sebastian. It was a very intimate affair held at the prestigious University Club in Midtown Manhattan. These two are a truly graceful and beautiful couple and I wish them a very happy married life.

Ladies and Gentlemen, COLEEFFECT is in the building!

It was a beautiful Saturday and I was out doing some ‘picture making’ by the Brooklyn Museum with little Seun and his family. I was up a flight of stairs with his dad when Seun decided to give a perfectly random stranger a hug. The spontaneity of this handsome little man’s actions had me racing down the stairs in a dramatic frenzy.

All things considered, I think the ‘cute factor’ from these pics made it very worth the pain of twisting/rolling my ankle while trying to scurry down to capture these images.

Celeste and I had the pleasure of working with the very gracious Sumbo. She was extremely down to earth and quite the funny character, we had loads of fun working with her.
